Schoolhouse Brewery Beers
The Principal Pale Ale is an ‘aromatic’ pale ale; having an aroma similar to an IPA but with the approachability of an American Pale Ale. Highlighting hop flavor and aroma without overdoing bitterness, the Principal has a light body and crisp finish making it a very refreshing beer.
Take a break with our most approachable and sessionable beer yet; best for new craft beer drinkers and summer patios. A classic European pilsner with a distinctive but not overbearing lager yeast profile.
The Chequers Ale takes inspiration from a family pub in Kent England by using traditional East Kent Goldings hops. This gives the porter a traditional earthy quality. At only 4.7% alcohol, the Chequer’s makes a very sessionable dark beer, bursting with flavor.
True to the “Scottish Export” style, Scotian Export is deep copper in colour, has a rich mouthfeel, and significant malt complexity. Scotian Export’s malt forwardness is enhanced by the addition of molasses and brown sugar, and balanced out by traditional hop varieties.
Evermore the disciplinarian, the Vice Principal is our much anticipated IPA. This version incorporates aggressive whirlpool and dry hop additions of modern hop varieties that will impress even the most devout hop heads!

Though its cascading, rich black colour will be familiar to Stout enthusiasts, ours is decidedly different. The generous addition of organic cold-brewed coffee from our neighbours at T.A.N. Coffee yields a nose of espresso, leading to rich flavours of chocolate and roasted coffee bean.
Our first true collaboration beer with our friends at Good Robot is a tribute to the nature of music festivals and the artists that grace them. Skratch Plaskett, (American Wheat) is an easy drinking, pale gold summer patio beer with tropical notes of mango and citrus. *Gluten Reduced

Our 2018 addition to our long running Local Hop Series! This very hazy New England IPA is made with local fresh, wet hops, picked just hours before adding to this brew. The fresh hops create a smooth and juicy hop flavour with notes of grapefruit and orange. *limited edition
This Imperial style Red is a seasonal we look forward to every year. Made with local hops this full bodied and full flavored red is surprisingly (and dangerously) easy to drink.
Pouring as a pale haze, this smooth wheat beer is all that’s good about summer. The corlander and orange peel play together in the background before a refreshing dry finish leaves you wanting to relive Summer Break.
